Residential burglary reported

A burglary was reported at 1:15 a.m. Sunday in the 1160 block of Rosas Street, Calexico police activity logs stated. The residence’s front door had been forced open to gain access.

A taxi driver who was observed at the scene picking up the alleged burglary suspect subsequently told police the suspect had said he had entered the apartment to retrieve his car keys, activity logs stated.
