Billy R. Hines, 80, of Imperial, CA went into the presence of the Lord, Friday, March 16, 2018

Bill was born April 20, 1937 in Summerfield, Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Nancy Hines and one brother, Jimmy Hines.

In 1959, he married his wife Judy and they were blessed with a son, Randy and a daughter, Patty. Bill retired from the County of Imperial after 29 years in the Public Works Department and spent many years enjoying time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Judy of the home; his son, Randy (Karen) of Slater, Missouri; his daughter, Patty (Joe) of El Centro, CA; 5 grandchildren, Jodi (Eli) Wallace of San Diego, Joshua Loper, Bryan Hines and Jamie Loper of El Centro and Lauryn Hines of Slater, MO; 3 great-grandchildren, Kingston, Adelynn and Emmie Wallace of San Diego. He is also survived by 3 sisters, Jean, Tema and Marsha and one brother, Ed all of Oklahoma.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at 12 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery.

Bill loved Jesus first then his family and his church. He will be greatly missed by those that loved him.

He is survived by his two children, Victor Roman of Kansas and Maricruz Roman of Calexico; eight grandchildren and his siblings, Ramona Lopez, Maria Luz Garcia, “Pepe” Roman, Juan Roman, Lupe Roman, Pedro Roman, Maria Valdovinos, Jose Enrique “Kiki” Roman; numerous nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at 6 p.m. at Hems Brothers Mortuary in Calexico. Burial will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at 9 a.m. at MT. View Cemetery in Calexico.
