Ernest Dominguez left this world to be with our Lord Jesus Christ.

He was born on October 12, 1944 in Sinoloa, MX. As a child his family lived at the Al Moore Ranch, that is where his early years were spent. He attended Westmorlan­d School. He graduated from BUHS in 1963 . Right after graduation he joined the U.S. Marine Corp. were he proudly served 12 years in the active and active reserves. He was proud of being a Marine. In the summer of 67’ he meet Norma Dozal and after a short time they were married on November 4, 1967. Their union lasted 50 years. Together they raised 3 children.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carlos and Aurora Salceda; sister, Estella Castro; brother, Salvador Salceda.

He is survived by his wife of 50years, Norma Dominguez; son, David Dominguez of Brawley; daughters, Becky (Alfredo) Torres of Riverside and Gloria Reyes of Corona.; 5 grandchild­ren, Angel and Aliza Torres, Renee Reyes, Amanda Alvarez (Dominguez) and Cathleen Camacho (Dominguez); 2 great-grandchild­ren, Noah and Nova Valdez; brothers, Moises, Jesus both of Mexico, Richard (Chayo) Salceda, Carlos Salceda both of Westmorlan­d and Jessy (Lupe) Salceda of Brawley, CA; sisters, Rosa (Jose Luis) Corona of Lynwood, Aurora (Benjamin) Encarnacio­n of Bellflower, Esperanza (Arturo) Villavicen­cio of Westmorlan­d, Lucha Dominguez of Brawley, CA; and many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He will be missed, but not forgotten by those who loved him.

Visitation service will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 9 to 10 a.m. at Frye’s Chapel and Mortuary. Burial will immediatel­y follow at Riverview Cemetery in Brawley, CA.
