DAVID LEE WILLINGHAM Jan. 31, 1952 - Apr. 5, 2018

David Lee Willingham, 66, died unexpected­ly on April 5, 2018 from an accident in Brawley, CA.

David went to school in Brawley graduating from Brawley Union High School class of 1971 receiving many awards as football quarterbac­k and wrestling. He also attended Grossmont College in San Diego, CA.

David was a heavy equipment operator for 30 years in CA, AR, and OK. He owned and operated a Landscapin­g and Snow Removal business in Tulsa, OK before returning to Brawley.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Rollie Guy and Edna Willingham; brother, John (Betty) Willingham; niece, Carolyn Rouhotas her son, Joshua, and nephew, Mark Willingham

He is survived by his son, David Samuel Willingham of Vacaville, California; daughter-in-law, Veronica of Vacaville, CA; grandchild­ren, Logan, Samuel and Isabella of Vacavillie, CA; siblings, Ann (Carl) Stidham of Brawley, California, Barbara (Tom) Charlton of Brawley, California, Linda (Dave) LeMaire of Rancho Cordova, California, Charles (Freda) Willingham of Springdale, Arkansas, Margaret (Ken) Parks of El Cajon, California, Janice (Tom) Hornick of Yuma, Arizona, David also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and wonderful friends.

Chapel service will be held on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Frye Chapel and Mortuary in Brawley at 10 a.m. Burial will be held following the service.

EMILIA R. ROSALES Aug. 8, 1920 - Apr. 10, 2018

Emilia R. Rosales, 97, of Brawley passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 in Brawley, surrounded by loved ones.

She was born on August 8, 1920 in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. She later married Mike T. Rosales in Yuma, AZ. A genuinely kind soul that loved her sons Mike and George only the way a mother can. Emilia was a homemaker who dedicated her life to her boys and to helping those in need. She was the last of her lifelong friends that would get together for gossip, coffee, shopping and to help raise each others children. They are together again reminiscin­g in heaven. Emilia was also a loving grandmothe­r to her only granddaugh­ter, Arianna Rosales. She will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mike T. Rosales.

Emilia is survived by her sons, Mike Rosales Jr. and George (Alma F.) Rosales all of Brawley; granddaugh­ter, Arianna M. Rosales of Brawley; extended family, extended family, Helen Gonzales of Brawley, Sandra Romero Rivas of Modesto, CA, Letty Rodriguez of Brawley, Johnny Romero of Indio and Margert Romero of San Diego.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 19th, 2018 at Frye Chapel and Mortuary in Brawley from 9 to 11 a.m., Rosary will be said at 10 a.m. Mass will follow at 11:30 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Church in Brawley and will be officiated by Father Ray Roque. Burial will immediatel­y follow at Riverview Cemetery in Brawley.

CONSUELO NOGALES DAVALOS Aug. 17, 1929 - Apr. 1, 2018

Consuelo Nogales Davalos, 88, of Calexico, passed away on Sunday, April 1, 2018, from complicati­ons of heart disease.

Consuelo was born in Azusa, California on August 17, 1929 to Felipe and Maria Davalos. She married Antonio “Tony” Nogales on July 15, 1951 and they made their home in Calexico where they raised seven children.

Consuelo was an extremely devoted mother to her four daughters and three sons. As her children grew older and more independen­t, she demonstrat­ed her entreprene­urial spirit, becoming a very successful Avon salesperso­n in Calexico for many years. In addition, her strong Catholic faith and loyalty to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church was well-known and admired by all who knew her.

Consuelo was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Tony; her sisters Enriqueta, Maria and Concha, and her brothers, Armando and Felipe.

She is survived by her daughters, Ana Maria Nogales-Till (Mike), Irma Cecilia (David Hostetter), Emma Guadalupe (Frederick Origel) and Olga Celina Garcia (Robert); her sons, Jose Antonio, Felipe Jesus (Susan) and Juan Rodolfo; 28 grandchild­ren, 21 great-grandchild­ren, and many cousins, nieces and nephews who will sorely miss her.

In addition to her large and extended family, Consuelo was deeply loved and treasured by her many neighbors and friends in Calexico and Mexicali.

Visitation and Rosary will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Hems Brothers Mortuary, 1820 Imperial Avenue, Calexico. Mass will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2018, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 124 East 4th Street, Calexico. Burial will immediatel­y follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Calexico.

SHAUN MICHAEL PETTUS Mar. 24, 1980 - Mar. 11, 2018

Shaun Michael Pettus, 37, of El Centro passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2018.

He is survived by his fiancee, Thressa Bacon; mother, Margaret Armstrong of San Diego, CA; brother, Lewis Armstrong of Los Angeles, CA; sister, Nefertiti Holt of Columbus, GA; stepmom, Michellen Harris of Anaheim, CA; and daughters, Ashanti Pettus, and Aubrey Becktell.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Hems Brothers and Mortuary in El Centro from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held Thursday, April 19, 2108 at Sweet Home Baptist Church in El Centro at 10 a.m. with reverend Charles Huggins officiatin­g. Bural will immediatly follow at Evergreen Cemetery 201 E Gillett St, El Centro.
