-

A 36-year-old man was arrested Monday in connection to an armed robbery incident that occurred at Online Fun, an internet café on South Fourth Street, on Sunday night.

Dario S. Saucedo, city of residence undisclosed, was taken into custody at about 6 p.m. Monday at the Golden West Hotel on West Adams Avenue by El Centro police officers and booked into county jail on suspicion of robbery, conspiracy to commit a crime and criminal threats, county Sheriff’s Office arrest records stated.

Saucedo was held on no bond for the three alleged felony offenses, arrest records stated.

A second suspect was still at large as of press time.

At about 9 p.m. Sunday, a Hispanic male adult dressed in dark clothing made his way inside Online Fun and attempted to lock the building’s south door and open the north side door.

Another male subject wearing all-black clothing and a ski mask then entered the business and pointed a shotgun at the owner’s chest while demanding money from the safe and register.

The owner advised police he turned over $850 dollars to the subject, who later left through the entrance.

The owner stated when the subject left, other guests inside the business at the time fled.

Both subjects were captured on surveillance footage.
