LUVENIA MINTER HARRINGTON Apr. 18, 1928 - Apr. 29, 2018

Luvenia Harrington, 90, of St. Paul MN. passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at the home of her daughter Sherri, surrounded by her family in St. Paul, MN.

Luvenia was born and raised in Brawley, CA. She graduated from Brawley Union High School in 1945. Luvenia was an educator with the Brawley School District until her retirement. Luvenia was also a long time member of the True Light Missionary Baptist Church in El Centro.

Luvenia was preceded in death by her son, Edward Brian Smith; daughter, Mary Louise Allen; daughter, Denise Minter Smith and son, Terry Minter Smith.

She is survived by her sons, Melvin Allen of California and Tommy Smith of California; Daughter, Sherri Smith of Minnesota and son, Dana Smith of California. Lots of grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a whole host of other Brawley kids that she helped raise, Including the Minter family, the Lewis Family and the Campos family.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 10 a.m. at New Mount Olive Baptist Church 1321 J. St. Brawley, CA and will be officiated by Rev. Avery D. Dress Sr, Pastor. Celebration of Life will follow at American Legion 509 G. St. Brawley, CA.

Daniel Flores, 50, of El Centro, CA passed away on Monday, May 14, 2018.

Daniel was born on August 9, 1967 in Prescott, AZ. He married Irma Rodriguez.

He is survived by his mother, Jennie Robles; father, Jose Flores; brother Joe Flores; wife, Irma Rodriguez; daughters, Danielle Flores, April Flores and Vanessa Flores; 1 grandson.

OTIS KILES May 18, 1937 - Apr. 24, 2018

Otis Kiles better known as (Tee) a longtime resident of Imperial Valley passed away surrounded by family on April 24, 2018 at the age of 80.

Memorial Service will be on Saturday May 19, 2018 at Olivet Lutheran Church 2506 West Imperial Highway Hawthorne, Ca at 11 a.m. A viewing ceremony will be held on Tuesday May 22, 2018 at Second Baptist Church in El Centro, Ca at 10:30 a.m. Burial will immediately follow at Evergreen Cemetery in El Centro.
