PET OF THE WEEK
NAME: Marion
AGE: 2 months
SEX: Female
BREED: Domestic shorthair
COLOR: Torti/Tabby
WEIGHT: 2 pounds
Marion came into our care towards the end of April from Holtville Animal Control. Like most kitties that come into our care, Marion came in with an upper respiratory infection. After being placed straight into a foster home and being placed on a round of antibiotics, this little girl’s illness cleared up quickly! The foster that she is with is known for training her kitty fosters to be leash trained and like many before her, Marion too is leash trained. Not only is Marion leash trained, but she is a well-rounded and adventurous little cat. Her foster mom says that she loves to go on bike rides with her foster mom when she rides over to the shelter (which is only down the street) to volunteer each day. Marion’s foster mom says that she also loves to sleep in the back of a hoodie when you’re wearing one. She gets to go for a ride and take a nap at the same time! Although playing with dogs, other cats and kids are just a few of her favorite things, her foster mom also says that Marion is a huge foodie. For being such a small kitten, she sure does love to eat! If you would like to set up a meet and greet with Marion, please call or come by the shelter during our regular businesses hours. Marion’s adoption fee is $50. *All adoption protocol and procedures apply.*
