EL CENTRO — The Imperial Valley Auto Community Care Team held a random act of kindness at Starbucks this past Friday.

With the help of Imperial Valley Auto, Starbucks customers received $5 off their purchase between 8 a.m. and noon.

This was done as a random act of kindness and also to allow an introduction of the Care Team to the community said Bianca Landeros, coordinator of the Imperial Valley Auto Care Team.

The Care Team goes by the Kaizen Automotive Group slogan “Experience the difference.” Care Team members also gave away other goods like pens and some shirts to the clients present.

“The event here at Starbucks is from IV Auto. It is something that we will be doing throughout the Valley in the next upcoming months. Starting here at Starbucks, it is that will go around and give back to the community,” said IV Auto Internet Sales Manager Joe Elizalde.

This was their target in hopes that it would be a great way to bring awareness in the Imperial Valley about their new Care Team created by Kaizen Automotive Group.

”We thought by coming out and making sure everyone had a great day starting here with a cup of coffee on behalf of our dealerships would be a great start to our project,” Elizalde said.

“Our goal today was to introduce our team, show our community that we are here for them and continue to work toward building that connection by spreading these random acts of kindness. This is the first of many events coming in the future,” said Landeros.
