Matthew Louis Haywood passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at El Centro Regional Medical Center in El Centro, CA.

Matthew was born on August 29, 1974 to his parents Johnny and Cecilia Haywood of El Centro, CA. Matthew worked for the Imperial Valley Press as a Forklift Operator for a number of years, and for Planters Hay Exports Management working in Agriculture.

Matthew was preceded in death by his father Johnny Haywood; grandparents, Willie Ree and Louis Scott; uncles Sammy, Joseph, Frank and Tommy Scott, and Andrew McGee.

Matthew is survived by his mother, Cecilia Haywood; wife, Gwendolyn Haywood; sons, Ethan Matthew Haywood and Matthew Haywood Jr.; step-sons, Erik Aguilar, Elliot Sanders Jr. of El Centro, CA; brothers, Kenny (Vanetta) Wyatt, Chris (Monica) Haywood and Jermaine Haywood all of El Centro, CA; father-in-law, Michael Stallworth Sr.; mother-in-law, Debbie Stallworth; brothers-in-law, Marcus, Maurice (Lisa) and Michael Stallworth; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Hems Brothers Mortuary in El Centro, CA. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at 9 a.m. at Hems Brothers Mortuary, with Rev. Avery Dees officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Evergreen Cemetery in El Centro, CA. death by her parents Joe and Cletys Carr; loving husband Andy Williams and son Billy Williams.

June is survived by children, Dawn (Phil) Falkenstein, Mike Williams and Cathy (Ed) Villanueva; grandchildren, Allyson (Ed) Johnston, Trevor Williams, Jack Falkenstein, Phillip (Sonia) Falkenstein, Christen (Adrian) Magana, Breanne Williams, Ed (Holly) Villanueva and Nic (Maida) Villanueva and 14 great-grandchildren.

June was a Beautician for over 40 years. June loved family, crafting, quilting, going to Las Vegas/Laughlin and scratchers.
