JOSEPHINE ORDUNO REED July 5, 1942 - July 9, 2018

Josephine Orduno Reed, 76, of Heber, CA passed away on Monday, July 9, 2018 of natural causes at Scripps Memorial Hospital.

Josephine worked several years at El Centro Regional Hospital in House keeping and later for many years at the T- shirt Factory.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Andrew Reed.

She is survived by her sister, Susie Easley; her children, Irene Rodriguez of Phoenix, AZ, Sylvia Reed of La Quinta, CA, David Reed of Heber, CA and Vicky Reed of Heber, CA; 9 grandchild­ren and 5 great-grandchild­ren.

A Memorial service will be held on Friday, July 20, 2018 at 6 p.m. at Hems Brothers Mortuary in El Centro, CA.

CARLOS ALCARAZ LIMON Jan. 29, 1960 - June 26, 2018

Carlos Limon, 58, of Brawley passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2018.

He was born on January 29, 1960 in El Centro.

Carlos is survived by his children, Tania Ulloa, Carlos Jr., Roy and Fabian Limon; brothers, Rogelio Limon of Oceanside, CA, Richard Limon of San Diego, CA and David Limon of Calipatria, CA; sisters, Maria Lorena Carrillo and Yvonne Limon of Brawley, CA.

Memorial service will be held on Friday, July 27, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Frye Chapel and Mortuary in Brawley and will be officiated by Pastor Sammy Carrillo.

GLORIA HALE Apr. 13, 1941 - July 11, 2018

Gloria Hale, 77, of Imperial passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 of Cancer/COPD.

Gloria dedicated her life to helping those with developmen­tal challenges for 25 years with the Arc. It is there where a “wing” was named after Gloria recognizin­g her devotion and love for those she loved so dearly. Gloria gave her life to Jesus and walked with the Lord everyday ministerin­g to those with heavy hearts. Gloria gave of herself in everything she did because that’s what God wanted her to do.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billie Lee Hale.

Gloria is survived by her sisters, Madeline Muller and Marylin Portschy; brother-in-law, Donald Hale; sister-in-law, Felica Hale; nieces, Sylvia Muller Nelson, Linda Muller, Janet Muller, Valerie Muller, Charlene Portschy, Ann Marie Kendall, Darlene Hale, Melissa Hale Alvarado, Teri Silva; nephews, Richard Kendall, Jon Silva, Clem Muller Jr., Rodney Portschy and Franklin Portschy; grandchild­ren, Christophe­r Robert Cassel, Regina Leanne Hale, Ryan Michael Hale and Kameron Leigh Hale; great-grandchild­ren, Athea Rose Hale-Peterson.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Christ Community Church in El Centro and will be officiated by Pastor Walt.
