Norm was born September 9, 1943 in Yuma, AZ and was called home July 14, 2018 from El Centro, CA after a short battle with cancer.

He was preceded in death by his parents J.B. and Mary Telford; brother and sister-in-law Robert and Lois Telford. Norm is survived by his wife S. Belen Telford; sons, Harold Telford, Floyd Telford (Tracie); daughter, Helen Castillo (Hector); the youngest son, Charlie Brown; grandkids, Cassidy, Brody, Cameron, Cloe, Jadon and brother Allen Telford (Colleen).

Norm grew up in Yuma, and had many fond stories of his life there, he graduated from Yuma high school, the “Criminals” on June 1962. After graduating he joined the Navy on July 1962, where he lead an active 24 year career. He transferre­d to the Fleet Reserve on December 1984 and was honorably discharged on April 1985. Norman was awarded Medals. Norm worked for Imperial Machinery as a mechanic for 21 years. He was an active member of the Lions Club for over 20 years, and an active member of the Veterans Services Organizati­ons. He also loved reading, crocheting, painting, drawing, sports, crafts and bowling.

In lieu of flowers any contributi­ons or monetary donations to Belen Telford to help with expenses in this trying time would be greatly helpful and appreciate­d.
