Governor congratulates president elect

Baja California Gov. Francisco Vega congratulated Wednesday President-elect Andrés Manuel López Obrador who was officially declared winner of the July elections.

Vega requested a meeting with the former Mexico City Mayor to address state issues.

Among those topics the governor highlighted were next year’s Mexican budget, infrastructure, education and health funds.

Vega also asked to include on the agenda tax decreases and the legalization of imported vehicles.
