Unsuccessful congress candidate gets state job
A former assemblywoman who unsuccessfully ran for Congress in July has been nominated to a state job.
Mónica Bedolla was nominated to become the next director of the Women’s Institute. The nominee must be confirmed by the institution’s board.
According to a press release, Francisco Orduño took the oath of office as general director of the State Public Utilities Commission of Mexicali.
The official succeeds Francisco Paredes, who was appointed director of the state Development Board.
