A bright light faded and the world become a little dimmer on August 19, 2018, when Alicia Beth Chalker Bodenhamer passed away unexpectedly at the age of 56.

Alicia had a zest for life that far surpassed the ordinary and a smile that could warm up an entire room. She spent the last 5 years in El Centro California raising her 16-year old daughter, enjoying the sun and spending time with friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Sondra Drivon; her grandmother, Mercedes Seymour White; her father, Jess A. Chalker and her uncle Donald Chalker.

She is survived by the love in her life; Dennis Schouten; her daughter, Sophia MiKenna Bodenhamer; her siblings, Daniel Drivon, Mike Drivon, Kevin Drivon, Gregg Hayes, Joi Chalker Crumpton, Denise Drivon Graham, and Lynette Drivon Bell; her aunt and uncle Collette and Jac Metcalf; aunt and uncle Dorothy and Leroy Wheaton; uncle Albert Chalker and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Mountain View Memorial Chapel; 428 North Old Pacific Hwy. in Myrtle Creek Oregon, on Saturday the 8th of September from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
