She has worked for Imperial County Behavioral Health Services for a little more that 27 years in the Adult and Children’s Services divisions.
Raquel has been a member of the radio show’s production team for the past 14 years. She said she decided to become part of the project “to assist in eliminating stigma and increase awareness on Mental Health problems to our Spanish-speaking population. This has been a long journey but I think we are making some progress.” Instead of a favorite segment, “I think every single show is of crucial importance for our listeners from talking about a specific mental health problem to introducing a new ICBHS program/therapeutic modality.
