Justin Michael Denault, 19, of Imperial, CA walked into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on September 28, 2018 as a result of a motor vehicle accident. He was born on September 20, 1999 in Brawley, CA to John and Esther (Escobedo) Denault.

Justin attended Imperial schools, graduating from Imperial High School in 2018. He was enrolled at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ with a dream of becoming an Anesthesio­logist.

Throughout his life, Justin was very involved in many activities and he was very passionate in all things he did. While attending IHS he played Freshman, JV and Varsity Football, Soccer and was a Super Star on the Track Team, where he qualified for CIF.

In addition to sports, Justin was an active member of the Imperial Valley Discovery Zone and Future Farmers of America - The Fantastic 9. In 2017, he was selected to attend Boys State and was selected as the 2018 Homecoming King.

He was honored to receive many awards throughout his short life including the San Diego Union Tribune All-Academic Team, JV Boys Soccer Coaches Award 2015-2016, Varsity Boys Track & Field Coaches Award 2017 and Most Improved Varsity Soccer 2017-2018 as well as many academic awards.

Justin was one of the hardest working and dedicated students known and he went out of his way to help anyone he possibly could.

His personalit­y was like no other. He genuinely cared about everyone, was always in the most uplifting moods and spreading as much positivity as he could. He was the one person who really did leave an impact on everyone he encountere­d.

Justin loved to dance; he also loved spending time with his family and friends. He was always out and about with his friends going on adventures and living his life to the fullest. He made everyone he met feel special and touched lives from his hometown of Imperial to his last home in Flagstaff.

Justin adored and looked up to his Dad who was his hero. Together they shared many passions including their love for Harley Davidson Motorcycle­s and were big time Buffalo Bills fans.

With his family, Justin enjoyed extensive traveling with trips to Buffalo, NY, Alaska, Oregon, New York, Canada, Virginia, Washington D.C., Niagara Falls, Rosarito, Mexico and countless camping trips.

To all that knew him, Justin was known for his laid-back style of chanclas and his super fresh Ray Bans.

Justin is survived by his parents John and Esther Denault, brothers Jason and Frankie, and sisters Brianna and Amanda, maternal grandparen­ts Ricardo and Imelda Escobedo of El Centro, Great-great grandmothe­r Elda Baiza, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many, many beautiful friends, great role models and mentors.

Viewing and Visitation will be held at Valley Christian Church in Imperial on Friday, October 12 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.

A Candle Light Memorial will be held at Imperial High School Football Field on Friday, October 12 at 9:45 p.m. following the football game. A Celebratio­n of Life is planned for Saturday, October 13 at the Imperial High School Gymnasium with the viewing beginning at 7:00 a.m. and services beginning at 8:00 a.m. Burial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery immediatel­y following the Celebratio­n of Life.

In lieu of flowers the Justin Denault Memorial Fund has been establishe­d at Rabobank.
