Guadalupe Alvarez 90, Heber

Guadalupe Alvarez, 90, of Heber passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at Pioneers Memorial Hospital in Brawley, CA.

She was born on January 18, 1928 in Los Algodones, Baja California Mexico and later married to Juan R. Galindo in Mexicali, B.C. Mexico.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Juan R. Galindo in October 15, 1994.

Guadalupe is survived by her daughters, Hilda Rico and Maria Elena Lau of Chula Vista, Magda Vega of Nevada, Patricia Escobar, Diana Leticia Ramirez, and Norma Alicia Galindo of El Centro; sons, Juan Galindo Jr. of Mexicali, Frank Galindo of San Antonio, and Gabriel Angel Galindo of Cairo Egypt; her sister, Margarity Cabrera of Mexicali; 28 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great- grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 9, 2018 at Sagrado Corazon de Jesus Church in Heber at 7:30 p.m. with Rosary being said. Service will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Sagrado Corazon de Jesus Church in Heber, CA and will be officiated by Father David Serrano. Burial will follow at 11:15 a.m. at Mountain View Cemetery in Calexico, CA.
