Chairs restricted on parade route

Guests looking to attend the Cattle Call Parade may place chairs within the parade route limits no earlier than 6 a.m. Friday, the city of Brawley announced Wednesday.

The parade route is on Main Street from Western Avenue to Palm Avenue. The parade will take place at 9 a.m. Saturday.

Chairs placed within wide sidewalks require a minimum of 5 feet of clearance for pedestrian traffic.

Chairs placed within narrow sidewalks, across driveways or otherwise impeding pedestrian access will be removed.

The public is encouraged to remove chairs immediately following the parade.

The city of Brawley is not responsible for theft or damage to chairs on the route. Removed chairs will be stored at Brawley Public Works, 180 S. Western Ave.
