Monday to Friday

Lunches are being provided from 11:30 a.m. to noon for seniors (eligibility age 60 and older) at the following Catholic Charities providers:

MENUS

Monday: Chicken chimichanga (with verde sauce), refried beans, peas, heart blend salad, fruit cocktail, milk Tuesday: Meatball sub (with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese), broccoli, romaine salad, pineapple, milk Wednesday: Chicken burger (with lettuce, tomato and wheat bun), potato salad, carrots, spinach salad, mango, milk

Thursday: Tuna salad (with celery, mustard spice and onion) on a bed of lettuce, sliced tomato, pea salad, honeydew, sliced wheat bread, milk

Friday: Barbecue chicken quarters, au gratin potatoes, pulse melange vegetables, valley blend salad, applesauce, sliced wheat bread, milk

Free transportation to and from the centers is available for El Centro by calling (760) 337-8002. For Brawley and Calexico, call (760) 337-1760. The above meals are funded through the Area Agency on Aging of Imperial County and your donation. (Donations are welcomed, but not required. Suggested donation: $2 for meals and 25 cents for tea and coffee.) Home-delivered meals are available for homebound seniors who meet eligibility requirements. Call (760) 353-2748.
