Motorhome fire extinguished

A motorhome at the Internet Café in Slab City caught fire Friday afternoon, county scanner traffic stated.

The fire was reported to 911 at 3:12 p.m., county Sheriff’s Office activity logs stated.

The two male residents who live in the home reportedly evacuated prior to the arrival of first responders. Firefighters arrived on scene and extinguished the fire by 5:14 p.m.
