Daniel Ray A rostigui Jr., 41, of C alipatria, C A passed away on Friday, December 4, 2020.
Daniel was well known for his beautiful, outgoing personality. Your age, race, or color never mattered; anyone and everyone was his friend. If you were lucky enough to have watched him dance, you would’ve been mesmerized by h is dance moves. He w as swift on his feet and was always dancing around with a smile on his face. He was extremely artistic and expressed his artwork e very w here f rom tattooing body art to donating his time to p ainting high school murals. He w as a strong athlete and excelled i n any s port he played. The Los Angeles Dodgers was his favorite team, but the Calipatria Hornets was his home team.
Daniel’s son Joshua became part of his life at the age of three. Daniel was very proud of Joshua, they spent lots of time together. He helped Joshua with baseball and basketball practice and taught both kids a lot about sports. The day his daughter Aubriana was born was the happiest day o f his life. Daniel passed on to his daughter his friendly charming disposition, his athleticism, and his ability to dance to just about anything. He was such a loving father.
He w as preceded in death by h is g randparents, Richard R. M urrietta and Manuel and Antonia Arostigui.
He is survived by his parents Daniel Arostigui and Debbie Murrietta; grandmother Patricia Murrietta; sister Nadia Arostigui; daughter Aubriana Renee Arostigui and son Joshua Martinez; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Memorial service will be held on Friday, February 5, 2021 at 11 a.m. with Michael Hurtado officiating, at C alipatria Community Church, 180 W. Church St., Calipatria, California.
