Yolanda, 72, was born in t he town of Calipatria, CA b ut w as raised and lived the majority of her life in Brawley, CA where she attended the local schools and met the love o f her life, V ictor Quinones, who she would marry in 1965 and spend the next 55 years of their lives together.
She was a beloved wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great- Grandmother, and cherished sister. She is survived by her devoted husband Victor M. Quinones; her beloved son Victor A. Quinones; her cherished grandchildren: Amber Felice Quinones, (husband, Chris Cloclasure), Victor Anthony Quinones Jr., Vanessa Y olanda Quinones and her great- grandchildren: Meadow, Noah, Jayde and Ian; along with her close- knit brothers and sisters who will miss her o utgoing and loving personality deeply: James Frank Trujillo, Ernesto Trujillo, Dora Trujillo Chacon, Rachel Trujillo Bracamonte and Norma Trujillo Grijalva.
Yolanda worked for over 15 years at the original Brawley Inn and later spent some time working at P ioneers Memorial Hospital. She had many great colleagues and friends in Brawley a nd throughout the whole Valley due to her kind nature and friendly demeanor. She loved sports and could always be found cheering on her son Victor in every sport he played. Years later, she could still be found in the various B rawley parks rooting on her grandkids and her many nieces and nephews a t the local T- ball, baseball or basketball games.
Yolanda will be very dearly missed by all who knew her but especially by her husband, son, grandch i ldren , great- grandchildren and her numerous nieces and nephews w ho she was like a second mother to. She was a naturally cheerful and affectionate woman who is irreplaceable and will leave a noticeable space in her family forever.
She was preceded in death by her F ather, Frank V. T rujillo; her Mother Angelina V. Trujillo and her Brother and Sister Angelina and Dario Trujillo.
She will h ave private funeral services at F rye Chapel.
