Olga E. Lopez, 84, of El Centro p assed away o n October 11, 2021 of natural causes.
She was born June 20, 1937 in Chihuahua, Mexico a nd w as married to Gilberto L opez o n December 8 , 1956 in Mexicali.
Olga spent most of her years as homemaker raising her six children. In later years she worked many s easons a s a farm laborer where she finally retired after several years working for Zinn Packing Co. While she loved her family, her true love was being a grandmother and great grandmother to her 15 grandkids and 17 great grandkids. Aside from being remembered a s the doting "Nana", "Grandma" or "Amba", she will be r emembered as an outstanding cook w ho loved to f eed everyone that c ame to h er home. Her family and neighborhood f riends w ill miss her greatly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Angel Cano and Maria de Jesus Nunez; d aughter, Griselda L opez O choa; grandson, Leopoldo Ochoa; b rother, Jorge G. Cano.
Olga is survived by husband, Gilberto Lopez; daughter, Olga ( Leroy) Prindle of Barstow; son, Gilbert (Eva) Lopez of Seeley; son, Hector Lopez of M exicali; s on, Victor (Yadira) Lopez of El Centro; son, Alejandro "Mini"

Visitation w ill take place on N ovember 17, 2021 a t 8 a.m at H ems Mortuary in El C entro. Mass w ill be h eld on November 1 7, 2 021 at 11:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe in El Centro. Graveside service will be on November 17, 2021 at 12:30 p.m. at E vergreen Cemetry in El Centro.
