MARTHA E. SOTO IBARRA

Martha Elvira Ibarra was born in Mexicali, BC, Mexico on January 25, 1969 to Alfredo a nd Martha I barra. She was the fourth of ten children and the oldest of six daughters. A 1 987 Holt ville High School graduate, she met her high school sweetheart Cosme Soto, whom s he married on February 23, 1990. They had three daughters (Samantha, Julie and Brianna), o ne son( Zacharias Zack ") and f our grandchild­ren (Jayden, Alexandru Dru , Dominic and Sienna) during their 3 2 year marriage. Martha, affectiona­tely known as G-Momma, went to be with the Lord surrounded by her family on April 17, 2022.

Martha was an active member of St. Joseph' s Catholic Church, where she sang with the church choir. Having worked for the Holtville Unified she sang with the church choir. Having worked for the Holtville Unified School District for 22 years, she became a part of the girls volleyball and basketball team. She will be remembered as Holt ville Highs ray of sunshine. Martha enjoyed singing, crafting, home improvemen­t, volunteeri­ng with H oltville Little League and playing corn hole with The Circuit. She loved being G-Momma. Her grand kids were her pieces of Heaven on earth.

Services for Martha will all be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Holtville, CA. Viewing will be May 3, 2022 from 6:30 p.m. - 9 p.m. and a mass in her honor will be held May 4, 2022 at 9 a.m. with the burial following immediatel­y at Terrace Park in Holtville, CA. A reception to celebrate her life will follow the burial at St. Joseph' s Catholic Church. To honor her wishes, we ask those attending her services to please dress in white attire.

The family wishes to thank you all for the support and prayers you have shown us during this time. We have seen Gods love flow out to us through you.
