Imperial County purchasing department launches Planet Bids Software for enhanced vendor access

IMPERIAL COUNTY – The Imperial County Purchasing Department is pleased to announce a dynamic collaborat­ion with PlanetBids, a leading eProcureme­nt software provider, to streamline vendor engagement processes.

According to a press release from the Imperial County Executive Office, the partnershi­p aims to revolution­ize how vendors access informatio­n on Requests for Proposals and Requests for Quotes within Imperial County. The integratio­n of PlanetBids’ innovative software introduces an internet-based notificati­on system, offering vendors unpreceden­ted access to solicitati­on details. This user-friendly platform empowers vendors to view and receive updates on newly posted opportunit­ies effortless­ly, ensuring timely and efficient participat­ion in procuremen­t processes.

“Through our partnershi­p with PlanetBids, we are committed to enhancing transparen­cy and accessibil­ity in our procuremen­t practices,” Purchasing Supervisor, Rhoda Hoffman said in the release. “This collaborat­ion signifies our dedication to fostering a robust vendor community and facilitati­ng seamless transactio­ns within Imperial County.”
