Mischa: MELTDOWN ON LIVE TV

It’s not exactly the comeback she expected. Mischa Barton’s dance moves haven’t wowed the judges on Dancing With the Stars, but even more troubling is her behavior off the dance floor. “She’s unraveling,” a source tells In Touch of the O.C. alum, 30, who during the first two weeks of taping repeatedly clashed with her partner, Artem Chigvintsev, 33, insulted the show’s band, walked off in the middle of a live interview with Erin Andrews and nearly broke down in tears on multiple occasions. “Mischa has major issues with her temper and emotions. She just can’t control her behavior,” says the source. It’s especially worrisome because the former party girl — who was committed to a psych ward in 2009 after blacking out from Xanax and then threatening suicide, just two years after she was sentenced to courtordered rehab for a DUI arrest — promised show runners she’d be on her best behavior. “Mischa has caused such hell on set. She recently went into wardrobe and took someone else’s clothes because she didn’t like the outfit that was chosen for her,” adds the source. “But this is classic Mischa. She’s a ticking time bomb.”
