Million Dollar Matchmaker Contestant: PATTI IS A NIGHTMARE!
Million Dollar Matchmaker host Patti Stanger prides herself on her keen ability to match wealthy singles. But former contestant Sonya Bright claims that Patti, 55, is nothing like her affable TV persona. “Patti’s evil. She screams, yells, talks down to people and name-calls,” Sonya, who was contacted by a casting director to appear on the WE tv series, tells In Touch. “The show is such a sham, and Patti is a fake. She has people feeding her lines and doesn’t have an ounce of credibility. My experience on the show was so forced and abusive.” Sonya, who founded Tantini Tanning Bar, says Patti verbally attacked her after Sonya refused to pick a suitor to go on a second date with. “Patti called me a whore and a slut and tried to use my father’s death to provoke an emotional outburst from me.” Sonya says she “feels sorry” for the TV personality. “After spending time with her, I think she’s unstable, with deep-seated issues,” she adds. “She terrorizes her staff and she terrorized me. There’s a special place in hell for people [like her].”
