A widowed mom (Elizabeth Reaser) of two daughters (Annalise Basso and Lulu Wilson) accidentally invites actual evil into the family’s sketchy séance business via a Ouija board. This pulse-pounding prequel (set in 1965) improves on the original with well-executed supernatural scares.
