Star­bucks’ green cups are mak­ing cus­tomers see red! The cof­fee gi­ant in­tro­duced new cups on Nov. 1, say­ing the illustration of over 100 faces drawn with one con­tin­u­ous stroke was a pre-elec­tion “sym­bol of unity.” Some cried foul over Star­bucks get­ting po­lit­i­cal. Oth­ers pre­ma­turely as­sumed it was the 2016 hol­i­day cup. “Hate them,” tweeted one con­fused cus­tomer. “Bring back the red cups w/ the snowflakes.” But many echoed this com­menter’s sen­ti­ment: “Are peo­ple that bored that they have time to be out­raged over the color on a cof­fee cup?”
