JEN Plastic Surgery to Save Her Marriage
Jennifer Aniston was horrified when she saw the images. The 47-year-old “was photographed while she was out with husband Justin Theroux in New York recently,” says a friend, “and even though he’s only two years younger, she thought she looked much older than him!”
She immediately decided to do something about it. The actress has had Botox and fillers, says a source close to her, and an insider adds that recently she also “had something done to the tip of her nose.” And it’s not just because of her vanity: She and Justin are fighting and she’s desperate to hang on to him. Since their Aug. 5, 2015, wedding, the couple can’t agree where they should live and it’s driving a bigger and bigger wedge between them. “Jen and Justin have been constantly fighting about whether to live in NYC or Los Angeles,” the insider exclusively tells In Touch. “Justin loves his place in New York but Jen refuses to move there. Jen feels comfortable in her Bel Air house and does not want to live in the cold, or on the East Coast. This has been a constant fight between the pair.”
They spend far more time apart than together. During the past six months, Jen and Justin have been together approximately only three weeks. Justin finished a four-month shoot for The Leftovers in Australia in late September, and by mid-october, he was in Berlin, where he’s filming his new movie Mute (see sidebar). During the rare times they were together, Jen and Justin argued over where to live,
says the insider. “Jen’s been incredibly insecure while Justin has been off doing back-to-back-to-back projects,” says the friend. “Jen’s recent plastic surgery tune-ups are proof that she would do anything to save her marriage.”
The changes have been subtle but noticeable. “It appears Jennifer has had fillers injected into her cheeks, which is called a liquid face-lift and gives added volume to offset the drop that occurs with aging,” says NYCbased plastic surgeon Norman Rowe, who hasn’t treated the actress, adding that she also appears to have gotten Botox and laser resurfacing. Another expert, New York and New Jersey plastic surgeon Steve Fallek (who also hasn’t treated Jen), agrees. “It’s a nice result — not too overdone,” he says. “I think she looks better.”
So does Justin. “He loves her more youthful look,” says the friend. And that just encourages her. Adds a second insider: “She says it’s to make her feel better about herself, but she thinks she has to continue getting work done to keep him interested.”
She’s still insecure about her looks. “Justin’s constantly working with actresses who are not only drop-dead gorgeous but half Jen’s age,” explains the second insider. And Jen feels like she’s no match for some of them,” says the friend. “She’s constantly worried that Justin will leave her for someone younger.” ◼
