Off to a thorny start! Bachelor Nick Viall‘ s playboy behavior is causing big problems with his final pick
Nick Viall is finally off the market. After three failed attempts at finding love on national TV, the season 21 Bachelor recently revealed the unthinkable. “I definitely found love,” said Nick, 36, who was dumped by Bachelorettes Andi Dorfman and Kaitlyn Bristowe before breaking up with Jen Saviano on Bachelor in Paradise. “It’s truly amazing. I can say that I am very happy and ready to get [married].”
But he may not make it to the altar. After watching his hookups with multiple contestants this season, the woman Nick chooses is now having second thoughts. “During filming, Nick was really sweet and charming toward her. But watching back each episode, the winner is realizing more and more that Nick is a fraud,” an insider tells In Touch exclusively. “She finds his behavior to be completely inappropriate and she feels betrayed.”
She thought she was special. “Behind the scenes, Nick acted like a different person toward the winner. He was open with her about his feelings and seemed really interested in getting to know her. So when he picked her, she was genuinely happy,” the insider explains of Nick’s winner, who won’t be allowed to publicly spend time with Nick until after the show’s March finale. It’s hard to blame her. On the show’s Jan. 9 episode, the women cringed as Nick kissed almost every single one of them on his weddingthemed group date, then got to second base with villain Corinne Olympios, 25 (see sidebar, below). And the winner is only going to be more humiliated by his decisions as the season progresses. “Nick tries to act like he’s not a womanizer, but he isn’t fooling anyone,” adds the insider. “He tried to make moves on every single woman in the house. He’s completely obsessed with sex.”
The winner is crushed. “The girl Nick picked is truly one of the nicest and classiest contestants in Bachelor history. So each week she tries to look past Nick’s mistakes, but it keeps getting harder and harder,” says the insider. Her friends and family have also started to point out Nick’s bad behavior each week. “She’s embarrassed and questioning their future right now,” adds the insider. “She feels fooled by Nick.” ◼
