GWEN’S ADOPTING A BABY GIRL!

Gwen Stefani is secretly expanding her family

Gwen Stefani seems to have it all: three beautiful sons, a thriving career and an A-list boyfriend. But she wants more. “She has a little scrapbook that she puts all of her dreams and goals in. It’s like a visual wish-diary,” says an insider. “She said she’s been putting photos of girlie baby furniture and little-girl clothes in her book lately.”

Her No. 1 priority is to have a baby girl. And knowing her chances are slim of having a biological baby at age 47, Gwen recently arranged a secret call with an adoption agency known for helping other celebrities. “Gwen is considering not just an infant, but children under the age of 5,” the insider tells In Touch exclusively. “She wants to have a little girl before Christmas.”

Keeping her baby joy a secret won’t be easy. “Gwen is telling friends that she wants to keep this really private and that she is trying to not get too excited yet, but she has been daydreaming about names already,” says the insider. “Her wish is to have a healthy, beautiful little girl she can dress up and play dolls with and do all the things she hasn’t experienced as a mom to her sons,” Kingston, 10, Zuma, 8, and Apollo, 3, whose father is her ex, Gavin Rossdale, 51.

The boys — and boyfriend Blake Shelton — are in the dark about Gwen’s plan. For now. Gwen is gathering all the adoption facts before introducing the idea to her beau. “She is going to have a private, romantic dinner with just the two of them, with candles and flowers, and she is going to present the entire adoption scenario to him,” says the insider. “She is really nervous. But Gwen knows how badly Blake wants a child, so she is hoping he will be excited about adopting a child with her.”

All signs point to a fairytale ending. After all, the Voice co-stars’ affection for each other radiates through TV screens on a weekly basis. “Gwen knows Blake loves her so much, that she told friends she thinks he will be on board once he sees how excited she is,” says the insider. “She’s filled with a lot of hope right now that she will finally have the baby girl she’s always dreamed of having.” ◼
