JEN’S UGLY FAMILY SECRETS EXPOSED IN COURT!

-

When Jennifer Aniston’s mom, Nancy Dow, died in May 2016 at 79, the actress thought the drama surrounding their strained relationship was over. But she was wrong. Jen’s half-brother John T. Melick is now taking his own daughter, Eilish, to court over Nancy’s will — and the legal documents, obtained exclusively by In Touch, reveal the family’s secrets. “Jen’s furious that their private information is now part of a court proceeding,” a source tells In Touch. “She feels it’s humiliating.” Not surprisingly, the papers, filed by John in December 2016, confirm that Jen was not left money in Nancy’s will. (They had been estranged on and off for more than 20 years, plus Jen obviously doesn’t need the money.) The papers also reveal that in 2015, John’s daughter, Eilish, now 20 and enlisted in the U. S. Navy, had her grandmother file an amendment eliminating John from the will. (A 2011 draft stated that $100,000 would go to John.) John and Jen were also removed as trustees of Nancy’s estate, making Eilish the sole trustee. Even worse, Eilish signed a document agreeing to reinstate the original will, but then claimed she was coerced into signing it. “Jen’s livid,” says the source, adding that the Friends alum, 48, has sided with her brother and “is now paying his attorney fees so he can fight Eilish in court.” But it’s not only about the money. In the papers, John, 57, alleges that Eilish had Nancy make the changes after she suffered “a series of debilitating strokes beginning in 2012.” Eilish’s lawyers insist Nancy was completely coherent when the changes were made. While the situation is likely to be settled by a judge in the future, it has become Jen’s worst nightmare. Adds the source: “She hates that her dirty family feud is now public record.”
