The heat is rising on the red carpet, and it has nothing to do with the temperatur­e! Hollywood’s hottest are making a sizzling statement with chromecolo­red eyes. “Silver shadows and liners are a fun, bold and daring way to really stand out,” says makeup artist Nancy Sea Siler, who is responsibl­e for supermodel Coco Rocha’s space-aged silver wings, at right. Plus, the light-reflecting quality of today’s super-pigmented metallic formulas adds a dose of drama to any look. Siler notes, “You can brighten your whole look with a subtle swipe of silver, like a V in the inner corners of eyes, or add major pizzazz by combining silver with black liner.” Her one caveat: If you go too light or dust the shadow on haphazardl­y, the look can quickly go from glittering to grim. For sterling shadow style, take cues from these shining stars.
