MAN CALLS 911 FOR RIDE TO HOOTERS
He must’ve really been craving those… chicken wings. Brevard County, Fla., resident Jonathan Hinkle, 28, called 911 on June 6 and told dispatchers that his grandmother had just had a stroke in a Hooters parking lot, and he needed to get to her immediately. Police picked him up and took him to the restaurant, but found no elderly woman in distress. A three-hour search ensued, and when Jonathan’s granny was finally located (not at any Hooters location), she was fine — and told cops she hadn’t asked for help. Jonathan was arrested for misusing 911 and later released on bond. No word on who gave him a ride home.
