Prince William and Kate Middleton aren’t the only royals with big news to share. Prince Harry, 33, has proposed to girlfriend Meghan Markle, 36, “and he hoped to officially announce their engagement shortly after they returned from their three-week holiday in Botswana at the end of August. But news of Kate’s pregnancy has stalled his plans,” says a source, adding that it’s also put their actual wedding on hold. “Harry and Meghan had hoped to marry at Christmastime, but now it’s all up in the air.” On Sept. 4, Kate, 35, was forced to go public with her pregnancy earlier than planned due to severe morning sickness. (She battled the same condition, hyperemesis gravidarum, while pregnant with George, 4, and Charlotte, 2.) William, 35, and Kate feel horrible. They “have apologized to Harry for messing up his plans,” adds a royal insider. “They know how much he wants to get married.”
