‘ WE WILL NOT VISIT JON!’

New disturbing claims about Kate Gosselin as her former motherin-law tells all

-

The judge had made his decision: Hannah Gosselin was going home with her mom, Kate, not her dad, Jon. The 13-year-old was distraught. “On the way out of the courtroom [on Aug. 17], Hannah was crying, ‘ No!’ and tried to hold on to her father,” a source tells In Touch exclusively. “She held on so tightly, she ripped his jacket.” Now Jon’s mother is speaking out to In Touch exclusive- ly as the situation grows sadder and sadder. She reveals that Hannah has said Kate has created a “We will not visit Jon” chant for Hannah and her siblings, sextuplets Aaden, Alexis, Collin, Joel and Leah, and twins Mady and Cara, 16. Jon’s mom has also said that Kate bought school supplies for all the kids except for Hannah, to punish her for wanting to visit Jon. And Jon’s mother was an eyewitness just two days before the court showdown when Kate, 42, repeatedly attempted to physically remove a screaming Hannah from Jon’s

vehicle during a dramatic custody exchange in a Pennsylvania parking lot. After three hours of resisting, as In Touch first reported, the standoff finally ended when an ambulance transported Hannah, who said her arm had been injured, to a hospital. “I would never have believed that a scene could be so horrible until I witnessed the custody exchange myself. How can a judge allow physical force to remove a child?” says Jon’s mother. (Police were on the scene and allowed Kate to take custody of Hannah.) “Kate thinks there is nothing wrong with her, so she would never subject herself to going to therapy. But she needs psychological help.”

If it were up to Kate, the kids would never see Jon, 40, again. “Hannah told me that Kate made her and her brothers and sisters all chant, ‘ We will not visit Jon,’” says Jon’s mom. “Not even ‘ We will not visit Daddy.’ She makes them say ‘Jon.’”

Hannah allegedly has been facing Kate’s wrath for weeks now. “Hannah said Kate took all the kids for school supplies but wouldn’t buy Hannah anything. Kate is punishing her,” claims Jon’s mom. “She bought all the kids their school uniforms and wouldn’t buy Hannah one. Instead, Kate told Jon he had to pay for it, and also pay for her school, even though the kids’ school is all paid for by their education fund [made up of money they earned shooting their TLC reality shows].” (Kate seemed more sympathetic toward Hannah during the parking lot standoff, when she told the young girl, “We will get you to therapy and you will visit both of us, just like you want.”)

The teen’s relationship with her siblings is suffering. “When Hannah finally went home after the custody incident and a trip to the hospital, Hannah told me that her sisters and brothers shunned her and wouldn’t talk to her,” says Jon’s mom. “Hannah says Kate told them not to talk to her to teach her a lesson.”

Jon has been punished, too, in his mom’s eyes. On Aug. 17, “the judge took away Jon’s 50/50 custody of Hannah and claimed he had manipulated her so she would not want to visit with her mother,” according to the source. “The judge also separated Hannah and Jon for 30 days.” Jon’s visitation with the other kids has also been cut down. He can no longer see the other children, adds the source, “except for a couple of hours on Sundays in a park.” Jon’s mom desperately hopes he’ll get his kids back someday — and that the entire family will get the help they need. “After eight years and hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal bills, there should be a psych evaluation for the whole family,” says Jon’s mom. “And after everything that has happened, I demand a psych evaluation for Kate.” ◼
