LIONEL’S IN A PANIC OVER SOFIA’S NEW ROMANCE

Lionel Richie isn’t hoping for endless love for his daughter Sofia and new boyfriend Scott Disick. “Lionel is concerned they’re dating,” says a source close to the Grammy winner. The new couple’s age gap is one big problem — Sofia is 19, Scott is 34. Scott also has a history of drinking and drug use, including several stints in rehab, and is known for partying with a revolving door of young women. Lionel, 68, doesn’t think Kourtney Kardashian’s ex is the right guy for his youngest child (he’s also dad to Nicole, 36). Sofia has promised her dad that he has nothing to fear and that she and Scott aren’t serious, but Lionel can’t help but worry. He knows “Sofia has a good head on her shoulders,” adds the source, “but he’s extremely protective of her.”
