JESSIE & ERIC’S DREAM LIFE

Jessie James Decker opens up to In Touch about husband Eric, reality TV and her expanding family.

If anyone appears to have it all, it’s Jessie James Decker. She’s married to pro NFL player (and parttime model) Eric Decker, has two adorable kids, Vivianne, 3, and Eric Jr., 2, and another on the way (she’s due with baby No. 3 at the end of March). She’s a successful country singer, launched her own fashion line, Kittenish, in 2015 and has a popular Youtube channel with music videos and makeup tutorials that average half a million views. The Louisianabred star can also whip up a mean jambalaya and fit into size 25 jeans. But she insists she’s no stranger to stress. “I don’t think anyone really has the perfect life,” says the star of E!’s Eric & Jessie. “Everyone has stuff going on.” Here, the 29-year- old talks to In Touch’s Jaclyn Roth about reality TV, her expanding family and her surprising celebrity crush!

Some might think you’ve got it all.

JJD: We are very blessed and grateful. But we deal with normal stuff, just like everyone else.

Like what?

JJD: Being at the grocery store with both kids running around acting crazy! And moving is tough. We left Denver with a week-old baby when Eric got picked up by the [New York] Jets, and now we’re back in Nashville. Moving isn’t easy with two toddlers.

And soon you’ll have another! How have you been feeling so far?

JJD: I was very sick for eight weeks, like I couldn’t get out of bed. But it’s getting better in my second trimester.

How have your kids reacted to the news?

JJD: Viv knows what’s going on; Bub [Eric Jr.] not so much. His only concerns are his snacks, toys and watching Moana for the 30th time!

You had an E! show, Eric & Jessie: Game On, in 2013. Then you took a reality show break. Why?

JJD: At the time, I was a new mommy, and I just didn’t feel like it was the right thing to do. But now I feel more settled and confident.

How do your children do with the cameras around?

JJD: They’re pros! They are totally normal.

Who do they take after?

JJD: Vivi is my mini-me, she’s sassy and entertaining. Eric is more like his dad, he’s quirky and sweet and loving.

How many kids do you ultimately want?

JJD: Oh, we don’t want any more than three. [ Laughs] It feels like a good number for us.

You and Eric seem so happy together. What’s your secret?

JJD: We really like each other! When we got married [in 2013], we had such a strong foundation. It takes a lot to faze us.

And how do you guys keep the romance alive with two toddlers running around?

JJD: We’ll go out to a restaurant and sit at the bar and flirt and talk. But we also love eating cereal in bed watching Naked and Afraid. ◼
