ARRESTED FOR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

Heather Locklear is spiraling again. On Feb. 25, police responded to a fight between her and boyfriend Chris Heisser, 56, at the Melrose Place star’s Thousand Oaks, Calif., home. “There was evidence that she assaulted him,” Capt. Garo Kuredjian of the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office tells In Touch. (According to one report, Heather, 56, nearly bit his nose off!) She then turned her wrath on cops — allegedly kicking three officers who tried to restrain her — and was arrested on one count of domestic battery and an additional three counts of battery on a police officer. (Hours later, Chris was also arrested and charged with DUI.) After a night in jail, Heather was released on Feb. 26 after posting $20,000 bail.
The Dynasty alum has been struggling for years. In 2008, she was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence (she pleaded no contest to reckless driving and the DUI charges were dismissed). That same year, police responded to her home after receiving a call that she was trying to commit suicide; she later sought treatment for anxiety and depression. In 2011, police were called when she and then-boyfriend Jack Wagner allegedly got physical with each other during a fight. In 2012, Heather’s sister called police after becoming concerned about her use of prescription drugs and alcohol.
Now loved ones are fearing for her life. “Heather’s sister and her ex Richie Sambora [with whom Heather has a daughter, Ava, 20] agree that Heather is beyond an intervention,” a source tells In Touch. “Richie is extremely worried about her. The family is adamant that she go back to rehab and commit to a sober life. At this point, it’s a matter of life and death.”
