GIRLS’ NIGHT Once everyone is settled, Kate plans to host the group at her famed residence, Apartment 1A at Kensington Palace. At the afternoon get-together, notes the insider, “Meghan and all her friends can catch up behind closed doors without being intruded on by the press.” And like most brides-to-be, Meghan will be outfitted with a tiara for the festivities — but hers won’t be a cheap party store trinket: Kate has asked William to borrow the Spencer Tiara often worn by Will and Harry’s late mother, Princess Diana, for Meghan to wear for the formal lunch. Says the insider, “She thought it would add class and sentimental value to the occasion.” Following a lavish seven-course meal, the women will move to the grounds of Kensington Palace for a high-end wine tasting. “As Meghan is a red wine connoisseur, they’ll get to try some of the most expensive French wines in the world. Some cost as much as $5,000 a bottle,” says the insider. One reveler who won’t be partaking? Kate, as the mom to Prince George, 4, and Princess Charlotte, 2, is now in her third trimester with baby No. 3!

Marry Kill and Lingerie Shower Bingo. “Kate is also renting a karaoke machine, so the bride-to-be can sing along to all her favorite Lady Gaga songs — I wouldn’t be surprised if they ended up dancing on tables,” says the insider. “And as they don’t want any photographers there, she has arranged for a photo booth. It comes with bachelorette props — glasses saying ‘bride-to-be,’ feather boas, and ‘no boys allowed’ signs.” Another guest even plans to bring masks of royal family members’ faces!

Then it’s time to bring on the gag gifts. “The girls will surprise Meghan with fun presents, including sexy Agent Provocateur lingerie and Xrated baked goods,” says the insider. Even Queen Elizabeth II (Harry’s grandma) will get in on the action. Though she won’t attend, the insider says she will arrange to have something sent: “Those close to Meghan are already betting that the queen will surprise Meghan with some sexy underthings.”

Not all the gifts will be silly, however. Kate has painstakingly put together a photo album for Meghan. Says the insider, “It has all of Meghan and Harry’s most special moments, as well as images of her, William, Meghan and Harry together.” The deep-pocketed group is also chipping in to send Meghan and Harry on a trip to the idyllic island of Mustique once the wedding is over.

OUT ON THE TOWN The next night, the group will live it up in London. But how to avoid prying eyes? Kate has already thought ahead. “She wants the venue to remain top-secret,” says the insider. To that end, she has booked eight different hot spots under a pseudonym. (Kate’s sister, Pippa, report- edly did something similar for Kate’s big night back in 2011.) Among the various lounges: the newly renovated Soho House, 10 Greek Street, Annabel’s — which is “popular with the aristocratic crowd and was one of Princess Diana’s favorite former hangouts,” says the insider — as well as private members’ club 5 Hertford Street and The Arts Club. “Kate has even joked that they should all dress up in disguise to avoid unwanted attention,” adds the insider. “She’s bought wigs and sunglasses just in case!” She’s also commandeered a fleet of SUVS with tinted windows to whisk them to their destination.

Once they arrive, the bubbly will flow. “There will be Dom Pérignon champagne throughout the evening,” says the insider, noting that the drink tab alone is expected to total $60,000. “It’ll be a boozy affair that will go on until the early hours of the morning.” But don’t expect the most famous American bachelor- ette party staple. “Meghan would be mortified if there was a male stripper,” says the insider. “She’d hate for photos of a naked man all over her to leak just before the wedding day.” After the night of partying, Kate has planned the perfect follow-up. The insider says she has booked them into the exclusive Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire for the next day. Located outside of London, the exclusive hotel and members’ club is home to the Cowshed Spa, where treatments cost hundreds of dollars each. “It’s always been one of Meghan’s favorite hangouts,” says the insider. “It’s the perfect place for them to wind down and relax.” And also to gossip about the previous days’ fun. If Kate’s plans go as intended, the celebration will undoubtedly be the most spectacular bachelorette party of all time. “Kate is determined to make it an unforgettable occasion,” says the insider. “She wants Meghan to be reminiscing about it for years to come.” ◼
