Did Miranda Wreck Another Marriage?

Miranda Lambert’s hot new man is married — and his wife is furious!

-

When Miranda Lambert met Blake Shelton at a CMT duets special in 2005, there were instant sparks. The problem? He had a wife at home, teacher Kaynette Gern. “I knew he was married,” Miranda later admitted. “I knew better, like, this is off-limits.” But she fell for him anyway.

Now Miranda has fallen for an- other married man — and she’s been accused of wrecking his marriage, too. Nearly three years after Blake, 41, suddenly ended his four-year marriage to Miranda under a cloud of cheating reports and speculation — and three months after Miranda split from musician boyfriend Anderson East, 29, without explanation — the country star is in a relationship with another woman’s husband, handsome Turnpike Troubadours frontman Evan Felker, 34, a source tells In Touch exclusively. Evan’s band opened for Miranda, 34, in February and is slated to join her tour again this summer. The source believes the pair hooked up when they were on the road together, adding, “Evan is currently dating Miranda.” Evan wed Staci Felker, an accountant, in the fall of 2016. The couple were living together in his hometown of Okemah, Okla., when Staci learned Evan was getting close to the country music super- star. “Miranda would call Evan at 3 a.m. while he was lying in bed with his wife,” claims the source. “Staci would always ask why she was calling so late. In the beginning he’d tell Staci, ‘This is all for business, babe. This could change our greatgrandchildren’s lives.’ Eventually it got to be an every-night thing. She was also sending him pictures of herself — body shots.”

On Feb. 16, Evan filed for divorce, according to court documents, which the source says blindsided his wife. Furious and heartbroken, she filed her own papers on Feb. 28, citing “abandonment,” which Evan disputed in a later filing. (As of April 23 the divorce had not yet been finalized.) When In Touch asked Staci about Evan’s relationship with Miranda, she declined to comment. A rep for Evan also had no comment.

THE OTHER SIDE But a friend of Miranda’s insists the singer didn’t put the moves on a married man. “Miranda didn’t meet Evan until their Feb. 1 show in Tacoma [Wash.],” says the friend. “She had seen him and his band perform in Oklahoma and Texas in the past,

but she’d never met him. So she was texting back and forth with him — and the other opening acts — in the weeks before the Feb. 1 show. She was trying to coordinate a potential number where they all could perform together.”

Soon after they met, as she was talking to Evan and getting to know him, he told her he’d filed for divorce, says the friend. “He even showed her the papers. She was under the impression it was a pretty nasty divorce.” The friend says Miranda does not believe she’s to blame for Evan’s marriage ending. As for Miranda and Evan’s current status, the friend adds, “They’re figuring it out. It’s in the early stages; they’re still getting to know each other.” ◼
