“This morning, first lady Melania Trump underwent an embolization procedure to treat a benign kidney condition,” Melania’s communications director, Stephanie Grisham, said in a statement. “She was treated at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center near Washington, D.C.” Walter Reed never commented on Melania being there. When In Touch asked a hospital rep if there was an official comment confirming Melania’s stay, the rep responded, “All statements were provided by the White House.”

An insider claims Melania is actually in NYC during this period when the White House maintains she is in D.C.: “She wants to move back there,” says the insider.

Nearly three full weeks after her last public appearance, Melania does not attend the White House Sports and Fitness Day event at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., even though she is supposedly inside, just steps away.

Speculation about who really wrote the tweet explodes online, with some pointing out that Donald often uses the phrase “working overtime” and ends his tweets with exclamation points. One Twitter user writes, “Please wave at us from your window. It doesn’t sound like you wrote this tweet. Wishing you the best.”
