Ben & Lindsay’s Romantic Getaway!

Still going strong! Ben Affleck and Lindsay Shookus recently escaped their busy schedules to spend some alone time in Puerto Rico. “They wanted to switch off from the outside world and just enjoy each other’s company,” a source tells In Touch. “They hit the local shops and bought gifts for their kids and sneakers for themselves so that they could enjoy long walks together. They love watching the sunset from the beach and then having romantic, candlelit dinners.” The vacation was well-timed: Although the actor, 45, and the Saturday Night Live producer, 38, are “madly in love,” says the source, the slow progress of Ben’s divorce from Jennifer Garner was starting to “cause friction” in the relationship. “Ben and Jen are still in the process of dividing assets,” explains the source. “Ben went out of his way to ease Lindsay’s mind by whisking her away — and now they’re back on track.”
