SUGAR MAMA MIRANDA MOVING TO NYC!

The country crooner relocates to the Big Apple for her hot cop husband — and buys him a new apartment!

-

She blended in perfectly. Miranda Lambert and new husband Brendan McLoughlin looked like any other couple out for a stroll as they walked through the streets of NYC’s Soho area on April 27. The country music star and her NYPD officer husband both wore baseball caps pulled low, but they didn’t seem to mind when adoring fans instantly recognized Miranda.

And New Yorkers are going to be seeing a lot more of her. After three months of marriage following less than three months of dating, Nashville-based Miranda has splashed out $2 million for a new NYC apartment for herself and Brendan, a source tells In Touch. She’s moving to Manhattan where she’s “totally upgraded Brendan’s life. Being a young NYPD officer, he wasn’t exactly rolling in money. But it seems Miranda likes spoiling him and doesn’t mind

spending money to make him happy.”

The singer, 35, has even gone so far as to make sure Brendan’s son will live in luxury, too, whenever Brendan, 27, has custody. “The new apartment is complete with a full nursery to accommodate visits from Brendan’s son, Landon,” says the source. Landon is the little boy the cop welcomed in early November — right around the time he met Miranda when she performed in NYC — with lawyer ex Kaihla Rettinger. (A different ex, pro soccer player Jackie Bruno, broke off her and Brendan’s engagement last summer when she learned he’d gotten Kaihla pregnant, Jackie’s mom previously confirmed to In Touch.)

MONEY IS NO OBJECT

But Miranda isn’t stopping there. “She’s even building a nursery for Landon at her Tennessee ranch,” says the source. “She’s footing the bill for whatever they need.” She likes having the upper hand in her relationships, says the source. “Miranda wants to be the alpha partner. She doesn’t like feeling vulnerable, and, thankfully for her, her millions often give her power over most situations.”

Even though Staten Island native Brendan has a good job (NYPD officers’ salaries start at $42,500 a year and jump to about $85,000 after five-and-a-half years), his earnings don’t exactly compare to Miranda’s estimated net worth of $45 million. “He’s totally comfortable with the situation,” says the source, especially since “his parents often helped him out financially before he got married.”

Considering how quickly they married, not to mention Brendan’s messy romantic past, some friends at first feared the union won’t last. “But now, considering all the perks he’s getting,” says the source, “everyone thinks he’ll stay on his best behavior!”

?? ?? SHE HOLDS THE PURSE STRINGS Miranda (with Brendan in NYC on April 27) “has had control of the relationship from the beginning,” says a source.
