Hannah Brown realizes she chose the wrong guy — and one of the contestants she sent home could be her soulmate

Hannah Brown was terrified of making a decision she would regret forever. “I don’t know if I’ve had the time to know who my person is here because I need more time,” the former Miss Alabama, who spent her entire season begging the contestants to open up, sobbed to host Chris Harrison on the July 8 episode. “I just want clarity every time I make a decision, and I don’t have clarity.”

She never did — not even in the end. Hannah eventually gave away her final rose and accepted a proposal from one of her two finalists — Tyler Cameron and Jed Wyatt — but sources say she and the season’s winner (whom In Touch is not naming) have already split. “She kept finding out more and more bad things about his character,” say an insider, like the fact that he was in a serious relationship when he joined the show and he was hitting on other women after the show, while engaged to Hannah, 24. Now, says another source, she wants a second chance with an ex. “She realized she made a big mistake, but she hasn’t given up on love,” says the source. “There’s another big twist coming.”

Meanwhile, her finalists have been subjected to Bachelor Nation’s famously unforgiving scrutiny. Fans have long been skeptical that Tyler, 26, was ready for marriage — and when Jed’s family basically said the same thing about him, it raised a lot of red flags for viewers. Even worse? Jed’s ex Haley Stevens told In Touch that they’d exchanged “I love you”s just two weeks before he met Hannah. In a July 8 Instagram post (below), the embattled Nashville musician, 25, begged fans to “reserve judgment” until he was able to explain himself.

Making matters even worse for Hannah, In Touch has learned Jed’s not the only serious contestant who left a girlfriend to go on the show. Hannah is devastated by her lack of judgment and heartbroken, says the source. “But she just moved to LA and is hopeful her move will help her figure out what she wants to do next. She’s looking forward to change in her life.”

And she still hasn’t given up on her fairy-tale ending: Hannah has reached out to one of the men she sent home! A source close to the runner-up says that if Hannah contacted him, “he’d hear her out because he really loved her and he’s an understanding guy.” But he would need to know that he’s not just some consolation prize. “He grew a lot on the show and knows exactly who he is and what he wants,” adds the source. “Hannah needs to figure that out, too.” ◼
