At 49, Gwen Stefani gets the shock of her life when she learns she’s expecting — and it’s a girl!
Gwen Stefani was absolutely giddy. “Sometimes you just have to hop a plane and go see Blake Shelton play,” she gushed before panning the camera to reveal herself sitting on a private jet with her country music star boyfriend. Later, she shared videos of herself and family members watching Blake’s show at the California Mid-State
Fair in Paso Robles, Calif., on July 21. Gwen joined Blake onstage to sing their duet “Go Ahead and Break My Heart,” after which he held her tight and showered her with kisses as the crowd cheered. It was obvious to everyone there, says a concertgoer, that “they looked more in love than ever.”
They are — and there’s a very good reason why, according to sources: Gwen is pregnant! “They had been trying for a baby for years. IVF treatments were a grueling process, so much so that she finally gave up. It was heartbreaking,” says an insider. But now, just as the California pop star, 49, and
her Oklahoma cowboy, 43, approach the four-year anniversary of when they fell in love following devastating splits from spouses Miranda Lambert, 35, and Gavin Rossdale, 53, “friends are saying it happened naturally. And it’s a girl! They’re calling it their miracle baby.”
Gwen loves her three boys with Gavin — Kingston, 13, Zuma, 10, and Apollo, 5 — but it’s no secret she’s always longed for a baby girl, too. “Having a mini-me running around the house is a dream come true for Gwen,” a source tells In Touch. “Plus, she’s seen what a natural Blake is with her boys and desperately wanted to have a baby with him to complete their family. It didn’t happen overnight, though.”
