Christina Aguilera tops L.A. Pride in the Park bill

L.A. Pride will celebrate the LGBTQ+ community with the all-ages L.A. Pride in the Park music festival Saturday.

Held the day before the annual L.A. Pride Parade in Hollywood on Sunday, L.A. Pride in the Park is a ticketed event loaded with live music, a myriad of vendors and exhibitors, interactiv­e sponsor activation­s and activities and diverse food and beverage options, including beer gardens for those 21 or older.

Here’s what you need to know if you plan on attending.

THE LINEUP » There will be two, #LoveYourPr­idethemed stages featuring over a dozen performanc­es. Pop diva and “The Voice” judge Christina Aguilera will headline the event, which will include sets by Anitta, who just slayed both weekends of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio; Syd; Chika; Michaela Jaé; Rebecca Black; Eureka; Bob the Drag Queen; Zolita; Allison Ponthier; Alexander Stewart; Grag Queen; and Edward Frame on the Main Stage.

Over on the Love UR Stage, A Club Called Rhonda, Boy Untitled x Boy Apocalypse, Drumaq, Geez, Malibu Barbie, Mike Traveira, Rossi and San Cha will perform.

HOURS AND LOCATION » The event will take place from 1-11 p.m. Saturday at Los Angeles State Historic Park, 1245 N. Spring St. The outdoor space includes 30 acres of grassy lawn that can accommodat­e up to 25,000.

HOW TO GET TICKETS » General admission passes are $60, VIP tickets are $200 (available to those 21 or older only) and VIP Platinum tickets are $300 (21 or older only). Ticketed attendees will receive an RFID wristband to allow for contactles­s entry. Attendees 5 or older will need to purchase a ticket. All passes are available at lapride.org.
