Fireworks, picnics and parades set across region Some are this weekend; many are on the holiday
Fourth of July events — from fireworks to picnics to parades — are scheduled across the Inland Empire.
Some events will occur this weekend. Many will take place on the holiday weekend or the holiday itself.
Independence Day celebrations include the following.
Riverside County
CORONA
Corona’s Main Street USA Independence Day Parade will occur July 4.
It will begin at 9 a.m. on Main Street and move from Ontario Avenue to Olive Street. After the event, a celebration with live music, food and fireworks will occur at Santana Regional Park, 598 Santana Way. Fireworks start at sundown.
Preferred parking is available in advance online through Thursday, as space permits. Parking will be $20 the day of the event. Free parking is available at Crossroads Christian Church, 2331 Kellogg Ave.

EASTVALE
The Picnic in the Park began Friday and ends Sunday at Eastvale Community Park.
The event, sponsored by the Jurupa Community Services District, will feature concerts, carnival rides, bounce houses, a beer garden, food and vendors.
Tickets are $1 in advance and $5 the day of the event. An admission ticket is required for each guest and for each day. Fireworks start at 9 tonight.

LAKE ELSINORE
The Kids Bike Parade will take place during Lake Elsinore’s Party in the Park at Summerly Park on July 4.
The event is from 10 a.m. to noon at the park, 18505 Malaga Road. Supplies to decorate bikes will be available. The parade is set for 10:30 a.m.
Fireworks start at 9 p.m. Fireworks viewing locations include Lakepoint Park, Summerly Park, Swick & Matich Park and Whiskers Fishing Beach. Paid viewing
locations include commercial campgrounds, Launch Pointe, The Diamond stadium and by boat on the lake.
