Fun run:
Valley-wide Recreation and Park District holds its 34th annual Bunny Hop Family Fun Run March 25at Diamond Valley Lake Community Park, 1801Angler Ave., Hemet. Tot Run for ages 3-5 begins at 9 a.m., 1K for ages 6-12 at 9:15 a.m., 5K walk at 9:30a.m. and 5K run at 10a.m. The 5Ks have categories for age 8and younger to 70and older. Grandfathers for Golf, a nonprofit that provides free golf lessons and equipment for children, holds its Grandfathers for Golf Memorial Tourney April 28at Soboba Springs Golf Course. San Jacinto Valley Sale:
The Presbyterian Women of the First Presbyterian Church of Hemet hold their spring sale and bake sale 9a.m.-2p.m. at the church, 515 E. Kimball Ave. Sale continues 9a.m.-2p.m. Saturday and includes men’s and women’s clothing, glassware, dishes, pots and pans, towels, bedding, small appliances and more. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be available for purchase. Proceeds go to support organizations in the community. many organizations in the community.
Hemet’s Tahquitz High School hosts Art Palazzo, a community-based event featuring artwork, music, drama and food, 5:30-8p.m. on the campus at 4425Titan Trail.
